Scott has an extensive background in the life settlement industry dating back to 1997 when the secondary market for life insurance began to emerge.  Having begun his career with a viatical settlement broker in Florida, Scott helped pioneer the company’s entry into the life settlement marketplace and completed some of the industry’s very first transactions.  In 2000, Scott co-founded Advanced Settlements and has helped the company grow to one of the leading life settlement firms in the industry. Scott frequently speaks on the topic of life settlements and is an approved instructor for CE and CPE credits.  He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.

Sean McNealy, Co-President-Financing, Banking Relations and Corporate Sales

Sean McNealy has been involved in Life Settlements for more than eight years and has held his life and health license in the State of Florida since 1993. Prior to founding Advanced Settlements, Sean served as a marketing executive for a major retail distributor. A member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Sean is nationally recognized as an expert in this field, and has spoken across the country to various prestigious financial and insurance groups. Sean is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.

Matthew Ganovsky, Co-President-Product Underwriting and Broker Relationships

Matthew Ganovsky has specialized in the Life Settlement market for over ten years and has an extensive background in areas of policy and settlement underwriting. His vast knowledge and experience in dealing with the industry funding sources allows Advanced Settlements to compete in this dynamic market. Matthew oversees all client and policy activity.

Jeff Hallman, Senior Vice President of Business Development

Jeff has been with Advanced Settlements since the company’s inception and serves as Director of New Business Sales. A graduate of Indiana University of PA, Jeff oversees selected national accounts and strategic alliances which include some of the insurance industry’s top producers. Jeff is one of the company's most seasoned executives and is sought by producers throughout the country for his experience in handling life settlement transactions.

Jason Wyatt, Senior Vice President of Business Development

With more than twelve years experience in the Life Settlement industry, Jason Wyatt offers Insurance and financial professionals a highly disciplined and well-reasoned approach when discussing Life Settlements. His vast experience qualifies him as a valuable asset to Advanced Settlements. Jason received his BA in Finance from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.

Dan Beatty, Vice President of Operations

Dan has over twenty-two years of sales, management and operational experience with eighteen of those years directly in the insurance industry. He is directly responsible for the trading, underwriting and policy evaluation process of life insurance policies to be sold in the secondary market through Advanced Settlements. He focuses on building relationships with both funders and providers regarding the acquisition of capital resources for the purchase of life insurance policies.As the former owner of a multi-line insurance and financial services agency he has a vast understanding and comprehension of insurance sales practices and strategic planning necessary for operational oversight with the ability to ensure stable successful sales growth. Dan is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business.

Tom Offutt, J.D., Director of Compliance

Tom oversees the company's compliance activities as it relates to licensing and other regulatory matters. Tom has more than 20 years experience in the insurance compliance and regulatory field. In addition to tracking regulatory initiatives throughout the country, Tom supports the Marketing & Sales Teams with expertise relating to a variety of state licensing, advertising and other issues.He began his career with a major personal lines carrier and prior to his joining Advanced Settlements, served as regulatory manager for a U.S. aviation and health insurer. Tom brings considerable corporate legal and regulatory experience to the firm, and is a member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals. He received his law degree from the University of Baltimore Law School.

Karen Teller, Vice President of Finance

Karen brings more than 20 years experience as an accounting professional. In addition to her experience in financial statement review and analysis, budget preparation and cost analysis, Karen brings expertise in payroll management, accounts payable and receivable, sales commission schedules and purchase management. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Greg Rhodes, Vice President of Sales

Greg is the newest member of our management team and  oversees the Advanced Settlements sales department. Before joining Advanced Settlements, Greg enjoyed a 16 year career with a Fortune 100 company where he received numerous awards recognizing his achievements as a top performing sales representative and Sales Manager. He is a licensed life agent and a life long resident of Central Florida.
